Certificate Program

Five courses at 3 credits each (15 credits total)

The Certificate in Web Design offers students an opportunity to learn industry standard software taught within the context of design. Three required courses focus on software skills and address design and communication issues related to web design. Two electives allow students to round out their knowledge with classes in design and typography.

Three (3) required courses:

• DM1200 Digital Design I
  or DM2200 Digital Art I for Fine Art and Photography
• DM2280 Interactive Web Design I
• DM2260 Flash Animation on the Web

Two (2) elective courses may be chosen from the following:

• DM3220 Photoshop II
• GD1010 Fundamentals of Graphic Design
• GD2050 Typography I (CE/AFA)
• GD2060 Typography II (CE/AFA)
