BG2352: Focus on Flowers

This intensive two-day workshop at the United Sates Botanical Garden will give students the techniques to expand their skills from creating good or competent images to crafting truly great photographs! Master flower and garden photographer Allen Rokach will explain how professional photographers produce dramatic photographs of flowers that leave a lasting impression and make viewers take notice. Students will have the opportunity explore the beautiful USBG, focusing on the flowers and plants that will be at peak blossom in the spring. Allen will provide hands-on demonstrations and on-site, personalized instruction that emphasizes how to program digital cameras from Digital SLRs or simple compacts or "point and shoots," giving student the tools to achieve the best possible results.

This workshop designed for beginning to advanced photographers, but students should have a general understanding of how to operate their camera.
