DM1200: Digital Design I
This course introduces students to learning the Macintosh computer and the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. This course focuses on the combination of learning software programs and design principles. Design fundamentals, principles of composition, and visual hierarchy are emphasized through projects. After completing the course, students will acquire enough knowledge to enroll in more advanced software and design courses at the Corcoran. Additional lab time is encouraged for class assignments and individual projects. $0 $0 Course is also offered at the graduate level under the listing DM5200. Additional coursework is required for graduate credit.
