DM2220: Photoshop I
In this course, students will explore numerous features in Adobe Photoshop, specifically tools used for design and production. Students will learn how to scan, import, and create multi-layered designs. Students will also learn how to correct and adjust image tone and color. The class will also explore selection and editing tools, as well as filters, layers, and channels. Special emphasis will be placed on spot and process color, preparing files for the web, file formats, and resolution. This course features software tutorials and class projects.
The following prerequisites are required for this course:
DM1200 Digital Design I; or FN1000 Communication Design.
