DR0920: Perspective Short Course

This course will explore the basics of one, two and three point perspective, the fundamental issues of proportion and, foreshortening, as well as design and composition as they related to perspective this course. The development of the student's will develop their structural "sense," that is the ability to see the subject, no matter how complex, in terms of its simple geometric basis., will be a major objective of the course. Beginning with the simple rules of perspective the students will also gain greater control over their compositional abilities, and in the process develop a more creative and flexible mental outlook. Subject matter will include still-life, landscape, the figure and work from the imagination.
