DR1320: Structural Figure Drawing
Designed for students of all skill levels, this course begins with the premise that to draw well means not only to see well but to understand what one is seeing. Students will explore figure drawing based on mass conceptions, planes, perspective, and proportion, and learn to reconstruct the human form in convincing pictorial space. Working from the simple to the complex, from mass to detail, this course will explore anatomy, gesture, contour, tone, and value.
