ED3100: Art in the Museum and Community Orgs
A comprehensive survey of approaches to informal art education as practiced in museums, community centers, educational support facilities and varied social settings. This course is based on direct observation and systematic review of diverse methodologies, to provide an informed framework for integrated art education, whether as a collaboration between schools and alternative sites, or developed separate from formal schooling. Expertise of the Corcoran's museum educators is emphasized.
