ID0800: Big Idea, Low Budget Kitchen

Students explore the possibilities for designing a kitchen with maximum impact on a limited budget. Class discussion and exercises will allow students to incorporate their individual design aesthetics with creative and cost-effective design solutions. Class work will cover space planning, storage options, appliance and fixtures updates, and new ideas for integrating materials. This workshop will include a field trip to review innovative new products in tile and kitchen fixtures.

The following prerequisites are required for this course:
ID0860: In My Home or equivalent experience.
