JE1210: Introduction to Jewelry II
This course will continue to improve on the basic skills learned in JE1200, as well as introduce more techniques used in basic jewelry creation. Students will be encouraged to develop their personal design vocabulary and to broaden their definition of jewelry. Topics examined will include more clasps, introduction to wax carving and basic stone setting, and surface treatments. This course is designed for the advanced beginner and intermediate students. Students must purchase a tool kit if they do not already own the required tools. Please see materials list for further information.
