In this class, students will create a series of related pieces, beginning with the design and creation of prototypes through the finished products. Students will learn about production techniques involving both casting and fabrication skills, working with the flexshaft and other finishing tools, as well as working with commercial findings. At the end of the class, students will have a series of three or more pieces produced in multiples of five. This class will also cover business basics such as pricing your work, creating an image, and outlets to sell your work.
