PD0620: Pre-College Introduction to Drawing
Designed for beginners and students who want to improve their drawing skills, this course emphasizes gesture, line, proportion, perspective, mass, volume, value, tone and shading. Students will refine their skills while learning about the expressive qualities of drawing media and are provided with a strong foundation for taking Pre-College Portfolio Development classes. Drawing projects may include still life, drawing from the (clothed) figure, portraiture, self-portraiture, and perspective. A variety of drawing materials will be used.
