PD1000: Portfolio Development: Two-week Day Program
The Pre-College Portfolio Development two-week day curriculum includes a half-day drawing course and a half-day elective, allowing students to immerse themselves in studying art from multiple perspectives. The experience within the studio is supplemented by all the resources available at the Corcoran, including lectures, open studio hours, portfolio reviews, gallery tours, presentations, and optional evening workshops. Classes meet for two-weeks (or ten sessions) 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays only. IMPORTANT: The start date for session A has changed to Sunday, June 23 to accomodate local high school make up dates for the snow days in March. Session A will now meet from 9 a.m. to 5:20 p.m, Sunday, June 23 to Wednesday, July 3, no classes July 4 and 5. Program fees include lunch, the majority of the course materials and art supplies, evening workshops, and other enrichment activities. Students select one elective.
