PD1451: Advanced Studio: Drawing & Painting (Residential Program)
The Drawing and Painting Advanced Studio program allows students interested in fine arts to refine their observational drawing and painting skills. Students choose to work with acrylics or oil paint, with the goal of developing their understanding of color theory and composition, as well as conceptual thinking. Students check in to the dorms on Sunday and check out on Saturday. Classes meet for two-weeks (or ten sessions) 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays only, with evening and weekend group activities. Program fees include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the majority of the course materials and art supplies, required evening workshops, and other enrichment activities. .
