PR1220: Printmaking Survey
This course offers an introduction to lithography, etching, and relief techniques in printmaking. The processes of stone lithography, dry point, and aquatint etching, and linoleum relief will be demonstrated. Students are required to make three prints during the course. The class will visit the Library of Congress print archives to view their collection, as well as hear lectures on historical and contemporary artists working in print.
