PR2270: Design, Color, & Experiment for Textiles
This course will continue to build familiarity and confidence in working with dyes and will expand knowledge of color and design through experimentation with new techniques. The class will investigate color sampling, silkscreen techniques, Shibori techniques, and image transfer onto fabric. Experimentation with new tools to develop a personal style will be encouraged. It is recommended that students who are pregnant, nursing, or planning a pregnancy this semester do not take this class.
The following prerequisites are required for this course:
PR1270 Surface Design for Textiles; or instructor's permission.
