PT6220: Abstract Painting
This graduate level course explores the concepts and meanings of abstraction and their relevance in today's world. Students will draw on imagery from nature and the visible world, personal experience, ideas, dreams, and the history of abstract painting. No painting or drawing experience required.
This course is offered at the graduate level for MAT and MA Art Education students and is occasionally cross-listed with PT2220 at the undergraduate level. Additional coursework is required for graduate credit.
