Digital Media Culture

Focusing on both contemporary and obsolete technologies and mediums, this course covers the impact of the digital revolution on culture, business, and the individual.

Business Communications for Design

This course focuses on building business communication skills and materials necessary for success in the field of design.

Digital Design I

This course introduces students to Adobe Creative Suite and is the pre-requisite for most Digital Media and Graphic Design courses at the Corcoran.

Digital Art I for Fine Art and Photography

DM2200 (3.0 credits or audit)
Students explore the capabilities of powerful programs to manipulate, aggregate and translate digital images and video footage.

Illustrator I

DM2210 (3.0 credits or audit)
Students learn how to draw Bézier curves; manipulate type; use layers to benefit work flow; blend; trace hand sketches; import photos; and much more.

Photoshop I
