Students develop the basic skills necessary to design and fabricate unique pieces of jewelry.

Improve on the basics skills learned in JE1200 to develop your personal design vocabulary and broaden your definition of jewelry.

Students design and create handmade chains, including jump rings, woven chains, and chains with hollow elements.
JE1250
(1.5 credits or audit)
Students will design and create entire enamel pieces as well as learn to incorporate enamel segments into other jewelry.
JE1260

Students focus on hard wax carving techniques, one aspect of model making in jewelry design.
