Rendering Jewelry Designs

This workshop shows jewelry designers how to improve their graphic presentation skills using colored pencils, markers and watercolors, with special attention given to how to draw stones.

Introduction to Jewelry I

JE1200 (1.5 credits or audit)
Students develop the basic skills necessary to design and fabricate unique pieces of jewelry.

Traditional Enameling

Learn traditional techniques of enameling for jewelry such as Cloisonné, champlevé, and plique-a-jour.

Wax Carving

JE1260 (1.5 credits or audit)
Students focus on hard wax carving techniques, one aspect of model making in jewelry design.

Advancing Your Skills

JE2210 (1.5 credits or audit)
This class is for students of all skill levels who are looking for an opportunity to perfect and practice skills already learned in conjunction with creating their own designs and directing their own projects.

Introduction to 3D Printing

SL2451 (1.5 credits or audit)
Explore new technologies that make 3D printing and laser scanning accessible to designers, architects and artists.
