Figure Sculpture Short Course

Students are introduced to seeing and translating the human form into three-dimensions.

Stone Carving Short Course

SL0941 (non-credit)
Students explore abstract and objective forms while learning direct carving in stone.

Introduction to Sculpture

SL1200 (1.5 credits or audit)
Students learn the basics of modeling in clay, plaster mold-making, and casting, as well as either wood or metal.

Intermediate Sculpture

SL2200 (1.5 credits or audit)
Expand your understanding of sculpting in clay, plaster moldmaking, as well as casting.

Introduction to Woodworking and Furniture Design

SL2341 (1.5 credits or audit)
Over the course of the semester, students work with the instructor to design and create a piece of furniture.

Introduction to 3D Printing

SL2451 (1.5 credits or audit)
Explore new technologies that make 3D printing and laser scanning accessible to designers, architects and artists.
